Same here. Every time I come to SR from a new machine or after clearing my settings I freak out a little. Kinda like when you just wake up and somebody turns the light on.

I switched to dark mode about six months ago here on SR. Since then I have switched as many other apps as I can. I find it easier on the eyes and I like it much better at night.

I've gone dark on every app that had it available as well as apps on my PCs. I find the contrast much easier to read and I think it saves on battery some as well. I'm still waiting on Facebook to make dark mode available in their mobile app. It makes no sense whatsoever that they would develop it for the pc web browser first.
