That was my first thought. Why does it take an injury? The guy has proven over and over that he can play defense.

With Ingram out and Freeman likely out... and with both Coleman and Kamara playing a lot as slot receivers.
Both teams might just stay in nickel the whole game.

That would be a recipe for a 100+ yard rushing day for Tevin Coleman.

This should mean that we will see Davis at MLB (his natural position), Robertson at WILL (his best position), and Klein at SAM.

However, you’re probably right. They’ll put Anzalone or Klein at MLB, leave Davis at WILL, and keep Robertson focused on ST work.

I think the best attribute from Teo is his communication skills, deciphering where the run play is going, and lining up other LB's in better position to make a play, all the important things I didn't see from Davis demanding from the MLB position. Teo is going to be missed for sure.

This hurts. Te'o has been pretty solid for the Saints so there's no getting around the fact that this isn't a good thing. Making it even worse is knowing that the team will now have to shuffle the LBs yet again but hopefully they come up with a good combo for this week.
