He's an undersized DE, at 260 lbs. It also says he was a TE at Nebraska until they switched him to "rush end" his sophmore season.

Expect some sacks from someone. Whether it's pressure from within on the starters or this guy getting a chance. I read get more sacks.

But Ninkovich went all out on every play. He was a high motor guy who seemed determined to get to the QB.

By the draft profiles, johnson seems to take plays off. but what can we expect at this time of the year.

No doubt that Ninkovich played at a high level on every play. The point is that his size didn't prevent him from making an impact.

If Johnson takes plays off, he won't last long on Coach Payton's roster. Maybe he'll see this as his chance and give his best effort. It will help him that he is on a team that expects best effort on every play. That sort of thing is contagious.

I can't remember the last time, if any we've had coaches that address weaknesses and needs as quickly as this. I'm lovin' it for sure.

I was really disapointed when Michael Haynes's injury forced the Saints to release him. I really thought he would be a great rotational guy for us.
