INDIANAPOLIS — Houston Texans coach Gary Kubiak was talking about the 2008 rookie quarterback class when he said there might be several lead changes beginning with the combine and culminating in April's draft.
With Boston College's Matt Ryan appearing to be the best of the bunch and possibly the only first-rounder in this class, Kubiak's assessment figures to be more fitting for an exceptionally deep running back class.
It wouldn't be surprising to see a six-pack of tailbacks go in the first round.
"Clearly, you could have a half-dozen in the first round, and you could probably make an argument for four in the top 10, depending on what your needs were," Indianapolis Colts president Bill Polian says. "To me, that's clearly the strongest position I've seen thus far." Full Story – USA Todayhttp://www.usatoday.com/sports/football/nfl/2008-02-26-combine-running-backs_N.htm
