This is the defensive lineup I would hope the Saints start when everyone is back: DE Davenport DT Oyenmata DT Jordan DE Turner LB Davis LB Alexander CB Lattimore CB Roby slot CB Gardner-Johnson FS Williams SS Jenkins

I am hoping the Saints move Jordan inside to tackle. He is not the same player at DE getting pressure. I am not sure if this is Cam or the absence of other pass rushers. Do you think the Saints should or would move Cam inside when Davenport is back?

I liked when Cam was DT and Onyemata was on the edge in preseason. That was ridiculous!

But your lineup sounds super good!

The question is who would replace him on the left side! Not sure we have the depth to just move him as he still remains a great edge guy against the run.

I believe the vision on passing downs is Davenport and Turner on the edges with Onyemata and Jordan inside. Davenport just has to, you know, not do the thing where he commits a war crime against the QB then is injured for the next third of the season.

I think it’s probably time to give him more snaps at DT. My only concern is him getting injured from facing double teams and such. He’s not giving us much pass rush off the edge. I also think it’s time to start using Baun as a pass rush specialist on 3rd down.

We change the lineup sometimes on 3and long but i do not see the inside on rushing downs. he is one of the best DEs in the league at sealing the edge.

Unfortunately the reactions won't let me ❤ this and 🤣 about it at the same time 😁

...also to the OP's suggestion why the lineup change at CB? Why would you want to insert Roby and pull Adebo???
