Deion just stated on the NFL Network superbowl coverage that half of the ex players
are suing for money not concussion problems. Will he be critized as Brees has
been about similar statements?

I'm glad someone finally said what we all knew about these sham lawsuits. This is nothing but a money grab from disgruntled and jealous former players that are upset that they weren't playing in this era. There are legit cases out there, but at least 80% of them are people looking for a free check.

Dion also criticized fathers who were not teaching their sons how to tackle properly. He said the kids should learn from experts. Ironic, wonder who taught Dion how to tackle. Not sure I ever saw it.... LOL

Please, Sanders never layed a hard hit on anyone in his career. He's the last person to be commenting on concussions.

He didn't tackle because he didn't know the proper way!

It is ridiculous to think that players are so stupid that they believe that hitting each other in the head is not dangerous to their head. I wonder how they will establish which players, if armed with all this concussion info, would have foregone playing in the NFL in the name of personal safety. Now that all this so-called research is out there I don't see any exodus from the league or any shortage of players trying to get in.

Wrong. It was a saints/falcons game back in the early 90s. The same one Wayne Martin had something like 5 sacks. Deion comes across the field and nails Frank Wainwright. Frank bounces up, Deion stumbles back to the Atlanta bench because he knocked himself stupider. I had that game on tape for the longest time.

They should follow Hines Ward sarcastic comment. He said "the NFL should return to leather helmets."
That will stop concussions. He has a good point.
