Learned a lot about his background I didn't know.

The Pels section starts around 51 minutes - not a flattering picture of the organization.

Move Murray and move on at this point. Package him with the 1sts or get a decent PG and/or 1st(s) in return. I’m sure the Spurs would love him back while we can land Dylan Harper at #2.

I empathize with his family losses and personal struggles. But there’s no benefit for either side in doing a tell all about your current team on a podcast because it was an injury-plagued losing season for him. This is really unprofessional and cancerous.

You can’t give everyone a platform while they’re going through something. Anything in front of them could be disparaged while they’re trying to cope.

All you need to do is watch his introduction press conference with DG and WG where they are telling a completely different story of how DJM wanted this trade to happen and then remember that Rich Paul/Klutch Sports represents him to know that this stinks and is the beginning political move to force a trade.

He has now alienated himself from three franchises in three years. We'll have to give up assets to move him.

He can sit until next year's trade dead line.
Let him get healthy then move him...
At least that way we may be able to get rid of him without giving up as many assets.

Meh, this doesn’t change my vision or my thoughts of the team as currently constructed, if anything it only amplifies my feelings of how poorly run we are as a team.

I hope other players come out and say “he ain’t lying.”

Yep. It is possible that DJM is trying to sheet-talk his way into a trade and the team is one of the most poorly run franchises in the league. Both can be true.

Trey does interviews all over the place and has never said anything close to this. Dyson was interviewed while in Atlanta and had every opportunity to unload on this franchise. The most he said was this franchise is cursed with injuries. Zion has had MANY chances to unload as well but has always blamed himself. Naji has had chances to air out this franchise as well.

Nobody has done it except one guy who was going through some emotional trauma.

I will say this for DJM, he has been with one of the best, mid, and worst run organizations in the league. When he says that we run things a specific way that isn’t customary around the league, I believe him.

Joe Dumars isn’t the guy who I would have picked to fight this ship, but he is better than the last used underwear salesman, but he has a long way to go before the Pels are at the Spurs level.

You do realize that since 2019 the Spurs have been terrible...

They haven’t been terrible. Their team hasn’t been as good as they were during the Duncan to Leonard era, but they are in their way back up.

I would trade our franchise for their’s in a red hot minute.
