The New Orleans Saints are not practicing on Tuesday, instead preparing to fly out for a trip to the West Coast and several days of shared practice sessions with the Los Angeles Chargers — all preceding a preseason game between the two teams this weekend.
Saints linebacker Demario Davis spoke about what the team hopes to accomplish in this trip, and what he’s taken out of previous practice sessions with the Chargers. He first joined the Saints last summer, when they made this same trip, and ended up being named a team captain before leading the defense in tackles (110).
