What exactly does "break camp early" even mean? Don't they still have to prepare for preseason games?

Why not just say Allen is giving the team a couple of days off?

It would only concern me if the media thought this was a championship team. I think it’s great thing that this is one of the most talented teams in the league and they’re sleeping on it.
