He's going to get another chance due to the injury excuse, and that he's Payton's boy...but after watching this, I can't get optimstic about next season.

The last time we had a poor season ending defensive performance, the DC was fired!

Dennis has done a fantastic job with what he has available to him. Terrible post!!

I agree, but I am not sure if this is the guy who'll help us get to the next level on defense.

Right now, we have no answer for Atlanta. We've seen a game like this before from the Lions, but the Falcons aren't dinking and dunking their way down the field.

We are playing with third and fourth team players against the best offence in football.

If you want to vent, at least do it for the right reasons, like finishing the season once again with total lack of depth at the roster.

Someone has to explain besides luck why we have so many injuries. We star training camp with one team and end a season with a totally different one.

So many emotional posts... its not time to blow it up. We did that already. Next year will be a good yea and all you negative nancies can go back to hiding.

Nah they threw in the towel after last week. They are already mentally in another place. 11th or 12th pick sounds better than 16.

Yep, don't care who he's got out there. They are scoring on every single drive. This is ridiculous, there is absolutely no reason to bring him back or any defensive coach we've got. Start over.

Allen needs to go. Payton needs to bring in a great DC that will compliment the Saints offense and the Saints need to aggressively upgrade the front 7 and the secondary in both free agency and especially the draft.

The talent is not bad enough to justify what Atlanta is doing to the defense, stats be damned. Atlanta is great offensively but the Saints are just completely lost. 35 points is inexcusable.

I get what you're saying, but the "next year is our year!" line has been used for the last few seasons as it is.

WE need talent on defense and consistency in the DC. We will never get it if we keep replacing the DC. He should stay to see what he does next when and if our current players are healthy, and we get out of CAP hell so we can get some veteran talent.

lol what an overreaction

defense has had solid performances and we finally play an offenseive juggernaut and you guys want him fired. chill.

I mean what did you expect to happen when our CBs off the street finally had to play some talented receivers/QB?
