I think he's just testing the waters as he should, he's fielded some pretty good defenses the last few seasons.

I like DA and hope he doesn't go anywhere. Once we finally got some talent and depth on the defense he has proven his worth. He just doesn't strike me as the head coach type.

Every year for the first 2 games, a lot of people would be calling for him to be replaced. Always bringing up Wade Phillips (not a fan) as their coach they wanted. Then he becomes the best defensive coach in the world. People do change their mind very quick. Really with Allen, quietly, having success as a coordinator, you would think he would be a hot candidate in the head coaching search. But he isn't high on anyone list. Weird. But from an xs and os standpoint, I rather keep him. But would not surprise me if he does get to be a head coach. He has done a great job for the past 4 season.

I do NOT want him to leave. Just think how dull the gameday boards will be during the first few games without the 'Fire DA' posts. We will be lucky to have a 2-3 page thread.

Bring back Greg Williams or hire Wade Phillips And add that former Seattle cornerbacks coach during their hay day for our open secondary coach position.
