Deonte Harris back at practice and other news. (2 Viewers)

LOL, yeah I thought the same thing as we scratched out those 13 points on Monday--"We're better without Taysom!" 🤡
I understand what he was saying. Without Taysom, Winston can just be the guy and not have any interruptions and develop some consistency. Taysom has his moments, but let's not act like that power play to the right works every time or that when he comes in it's an automatic completion.

He's a valuable weapon against the teams it works against. But some opponents are very prepared for him and his impact is minimal. Personally I feel he's most needed on this team as a pass catcher. I would love to see some TE screens to Taysom or plays where he blocks then slips out for a pass.

Harris was officially limited, so it will be interesting to see how he's listed tomorrow. Both for the practice and for the game.

If he's LP and questionable, that's still a little dicey. But if he's either FP or no injury designation for the game, that would be encouraging.

Hope Turner can practice tomorrow. Really looking forward to seeing him & MD on the field together

Are you SURE they aren’t the same person??? Have you EVER seen them on the field together? 🤔
I can imagine a scooby doo scenario where the Fred and the gang take off the Mask on Payton Turner to reveal M.D.

Since your a reporter you can reveal the answer to this real life mystery.

I know I'll get backlash about my comment, but I think it's better with Taysom out.

No more swapping Winston out for a play that may or may not work. Winston showed he can scramble and get the yards when needed, but I think adding Taysom in, it severely disrupts the offense. We are bringing in Ingram so that is your Taysom pound it in role. At this point, I just don't see the need to rush Taysom back. I think the offense just needs WR and offensive line help. I like Taysom, but I the offense never gels with the constant switching. I'm just not a fan and if he doesn't snap behind center, I don't know if he will be of use or if he goes back to his old role? I don't know, but I'm mixed feelings on this one.
No. Just completely no.

Damn not good in regards to Taysom. I think he is that valuable to the Tampa game.

With Taysom back Sean can employ the Navy offense especially now that Deonte is back. Bunch of runs in various formations, 2RB sets, put white and Deonte in Jet Sweeps. Do occasional strikes to Deonte and Kamara.

Sound silly but i think this is the best way to beat Tampa. Plus it makes sure the ballstays in the hands of the best players.

I want also add Hill being injured makes it even asinine that player who leveled Taysom on that hit was not punished at all
why cant they use white in jet sweeps ? if hes so fast and cant catch, just hand it to him or throw a WR screen

I included White in Jet sweeps. I just didnt capitalize his name. But yes i think those are the perfect plays for him. Give him a little space to utilize his speed and see what happens.

I mean after seeing a full game without Hill in the lineup I don’t see how you can say it severely disrupts THIS offense, there was no offense on Monday…. Hill has produced, as much as you or any other TH7 hater wants to admit he is a huge asset in the red zone and also just across the board keeping defenses on there toes, I pray for his speedy and hopefully no set back recovery!
Hill is an asset as a H-Back and as the QB inside the 10 yard line… it’s no coincidence that the Saints streak of consecutive TDs inside that distance ended when he wasn’t there!

Now that Ingram is back, that power run/read option with Taysom at QB and Ingram at RB should work even better than before.
