I went to go see Departed today and I wasn't expecting much but heard some good things about it ....started a little slow but it had me hooked by midway through the movie...Leo Decraprio, Matt Damon, Mark Wahlberg, Alec Baldwin, Martin Sheen and Jack Nicholson is the main cast and pretty good one...and you can't beat Martin Scorsese as director.

Also hottie Vera Farmiga you might remember her from running scared.

Its a remake of the Hong Kong crime thriller Infernal Affairs. The screenplay was written by William Monahan, who based it on an original script by Felix Chong and Siu Fai Mak.

Jack had a awesome performance. he most certainly is back!

I liked it a lot, its for sure the best non horror movie I have seen in a theater this year.

When I left the theater, I honestly felt that this movie would win an Oscar for SOMETHING. To me, it was awesome from start to finish. There isn't a thing I would have changed about this movie, except for maybe what happened to Dignum.
