Guys i know e have will smith and charles grant but who do we have behind them????
Maybe we could pick up someone like Wallace Gilbery in the fourth he dominated the sec play and could be a great guy on d check out the scouting report
Wallace Gilberry, Alabama
Height: 6-2. Weight: 263.
40 Time: 4.85.
A solid player suited for the 4-3

He is a master at getting tackles for losses in heres a little list of his stats
Fr year As a freshman he was the team leader with 13 stops behind the line (50 yards) and 6.5 sacks

Soph year: A 12-game starter at left defensive end,Wallace closed the season with 37 tackles, 10 stops behind the line for 37 yards, 1.5 sacks

Jr year: Started all 13 games at defensive end. Gilberry was a leader on the Crimson Tide defense with 10.5 tackles for a loss, 3.5 sacks and 10 quarterback hurries.

Sr year: Started 13 games recording 10 sacks and 22 tackles for losses :wow: This guy is amazing i think he would be great on our defense fits our scheme perfect. He is the Absolutly the master of tackles for losses. He would be great

Josh Cooper is a pretty solid backup for us. Though I think everyone here will agree we need to add a speed rusher for passing downs.

Don't know the Wallace guy...

But we need depth at DE badly...especially a effective nickle pass-rusher. Wynn is alright but he's 31+, a run-stuffer and I just wasn't impressed with him. Cooper, I like him but he's not a "wow" guy at backup but solid enough.

Hopefully we address this in the off-season.

Chris Clemons of the Raiders, who is set to be a free agent, recorded 8 sacks this past year as a pass rushing specialist.
