Derek Carr Highlight Videos: (1 Viewer)

Carr would be an okay bridge QB for a team that drafts one of the top 3 or 4 QBs this year. Let the rookie sit and watch for at least a year if not two.

He's a slightly better than average NFL QB. His career TD:INT is 2:1... not impressive at all.

He's not a team's long-term answer for its franchise QB.
No one is bringing Carr to be a bridge, a bridge is a veteran backup QB who holds the fort down until the rookie is ready to play. Carr is going to get starter money.

Also, I saw a joke about the senior bowl QB’s, with every pass they throw Garoppolo earns another million. You could say the same for Carr. A lot of teams need a QB, and there aren’t a ton of NFL ready QB’s lined up to be picked this year.

Everyone is like

He wasn't in a good situation with the raiders ..

Is he in a good situation with us?

Honestly?

McDaniel has a history of ruining offenses and throwing the QB under the bus.

He has never been successful when TB12 was not his QB.
He got Matt Cassel a $60 million dollar contract. lol
But you can't say things like "maybe its the system." lol

Here is the real question that has to be asked.
Dennis Allen as a head coach has never been a good situation and is looking to always leave more questions than answers.

Carr is an impressive athlete with a skillset that half the QBs in the NFL would like to have.

However, he doesn't have that last bit of consistency and "clutchness" that you like to see.

Sometimes he absolutely lights it up for 3 quarters, then cools off. Sometimes he drops dimes, then he drops 2-3 duds in a row. SOmetimes he doesn't see a wide open receiver, other times he sees him but misses him. Sometimes he is pretty good in the pocket, other times he runs right into the rush.

Had pass. (well, pretty hard).

Yeah it sounds like this class of QBs after the top 4 is really a dud.

Even guys who were supposedly impressive at the Sr Bowl, like Duggan, are really iffy prospects.

Ask Rams fans what they think of McDaniels. He took a high powered Rams Offense from 2010 and turned them into the leagues worst offensive in 2011. How can you have Steven Jackson and have the worst offensive in the league?

Got fired as the OC after 1 season.

That’s the job he got after being fired in Denver.

Ask Denver fans what they think of McDaniels. They had Culter, and McDaniels threw cutler under the bus and blamed him for the offensive problems. Trades him to the Bears and for Kyle Orton. He didn’t make it a while 2 seasons there before he got fired.

McDaniels didn’t get Cassell paid, Wes Weljer and Randy Moss did.

McDaniels has failed hard every time he left New England.

Derek Carr has more fourth quarter comebacks than any other Quarterback since he entered the NFL.
