I think the name is centered, but for whatever reason the number 4 in our font is one that never looks centered to me. I had the same issue looking at Gillikin’s jersey last year.

It's the small top and wide middle whilst being centered. Any other way would look off as well.

That’s how I’m looking at it, nameplate looks to be centered under the neck line, somebody hit the tab button too many times on the 4, and needs a couple of backspaces to center up.
