I’m hoping he doesn’t choose us.
Well, you're in luck because Cam is trying to recruit Carr, and we all know how that ends.

To be fair, outside of 2009, Payton couldn't take the Saints to the super bowl with a HOF QB, either. But, could DA win with a good QB and OC? Still not sure about PC. A good defense and a good offense usually wins a lot of games. The Saints have to make the right moves, but I don't see why that's unrealistic. If it's super bowl or bust, I hope you're prepared for a whole lot of bust.
Right...we always felt like we had a chance. No one is saying "SB or bust" that is just dumb.....I think most feel that with CSP just about every year you felt we would make the playoffs....make the playoffs and you have a chance to get there.....with this coaching staff I feel zero confidence that we have a chance at a winning record much less the playoffs....
That "outside of 2009" line is precious....
DA has no other choice, and Mickey has to concede because he hired a losing coach. That's the realityRight...we always felt like we had a chance.
But This?
I feel like there's a chance we line up 11 guys on offense and 11 guys on defense and we do just enough to not embarrass ourselves - that feels like our ceiling. Acquiring Carr via a $150M contract does nothing to move that needle.
During that ‘14-‘16 stretch there was momentum that the Saints would fire Payton.Right...we always felt like we had a chance.

From who? It wasn't coming from our fan base, that was being peddled by outside actors so that they can get ahold of CSPDuring that ‘14-‘16 stretch there was momentum that the Saints would fire Payton.

Yeah but how many time did we say how we "dodge that bullet". Till this day I still consider signing Jarius Byrd was the biggest mistakes during Sean Payton time here.I'm kinda with Kevin from the latest New Orleans.Football podcast. I don't think this signing is happening here. Look, when was the last time we got that major signing? Always seems me miss out on "the guy" Look at our track record.
