He’s not wrong. I do think it’s mostly because we tried to “recruit” those players to come to NO for our price vs just giving them the best offer of any team.

The same will happen here if we don’t offer the best deal, imo. I’m still hoping we do.

Sure, but winning division titles should be a good barometer of the performance of the coaches and team. When they do that, the coach shouldn't be on the hot seat for that.

Of course some fans are fickle and have set unrealistic expectations. It is what it is.

For real, it looks like the Jets are using Carr to put pressure on the Packers and Rodgers. And Carr is using the Jets to put pressure on us to up our offer. Or maybe Carr is really cool with being plan B but I don't know... in his shoes I would like to feel wanted? How can you say you can win championships with him and you want to work with him but still chase a different guy?

yeah...but a FAT check will help him get over it rite quik. I mean insane numbers being floated for maybe even lesser quality QBs IJS he has to let the market open up a little. he could literal turn 30 into 40 by just letting that time value kick in.
