Why wouldn't he? He may be a weirdo, but he hasn't been accused of anything illegal.Legit question, will D Watson ever be allowed to play in the NFL again?
Absolutely. He’s only 26 years old.Legit question, will D Watson ever be allowed to play in the NFL again?
I thought he had 22 allegations of sexual assault. Why wouldn't he? He may be a weirdo, but he hasn't been accused of anything illegal.
22 lawsuits alleging misconduct by masseuses...if he were charged w/ 22 counts of sexual assault, it would be a different story.I thought he had 22 allegations of sexual assault.
In this reply I am not excusing or judging the merit of any of the actions Watson may or may not have taken. That’s a separate conversation. But I will say that it’s been since last spring when these accusations came out and the HPD has thus far not indicated they plan to charge him for anything.22 lawsuits alleging misconduct by masseuses...if he were charged w/ 22 counts of sexual assault, it would be a different story.
At least he wasn't running a pit bull fighting ring, he'd be in deep doodoo

That being said, I believe McNair and their crazy VP, Easterby, instigated the public arc of all this to try to damage Watson and force him to relent on his demand to be traded. They were too dumb and short-sighted to imagine Watson and those representing him would call their bluff and use league rules to keep him paid and on the roster even when f he didn’t play.
They also thought that simply hiring an African American HC would impact Watson and make him forget all the Texans past BS and come back into the fold. Now they know they have to deal Watson, so they fired Culley, which shows the cynical and monolithic view they have of the QB and now former HC.
No doubt. My opinions about Watson’s judgment and “moral compass,” are not positive, but the lack of all this smoke turning into an actual legal fire after so many months, is telling, IMO.So the reason nothing has come of the case is basically Watson used Instagram to get in touch with... uh... "masseuses" and verbal agreements were made, cash changed hands for "off the menu" services. It is just a she-said, he-said with no paper trail and nothing more than the court of public opinion. At the end of the day it looks like a shameless cash grab by a sleazy lawyer and a bunch of desperate women. That said, Watson left himself open to this by getting himself involved with these kinds of women to begin with.
