Just taking a stab at it and kind of reading between the lines........................I think the reason he said that he never should have played for the Saints is that he's still got a chapped rear end about how he was treated and released by the Cowboys.

I'm thinking he's thinking that he should still be in Dalllas……...........notice that I spelled Dalllas with three l's because of the week four "L" that the Saints hung on them!!

I take it as whatever happen to drive him out of dallas should’ve never happen therefore should still be in dallas, henceforth should’ve never been a saint.
