The Miami speculation is interesting. But if the team did mishandleTua and as a result McDaniel were to be discharged as the scapegoat, several issues impacting whether Payton would want to coach there would arise:

1. Is Tua still the team's quarterback of the future?

2. Would Miami lose more draft picks? It has already lost its one in 2023, and a three or a four in 2024 because of the tampering with Payton and Brady.
