On the Eagles sideline one of the coaches was surrounded by staff people holding towels up to obviously prevent someone from spying on the playcalls.

Who was this coach?

Wasn't their OC... Morningwegh (sp) is their OC... that wasn't him.. but I don't know who it was they were trying to hide.

They were doing it on defense. They must have been worried that Simoneau and/or Thomas were intercepting play calls.

has anyone else seen those commercials with the listening device that can record conversations from 100' away? scary thought, that. they show people listening in on other's private conversations. the first thing i thought of was someone sitting right behind a team's bench, listening to every word said. you know, even at training camp, i've seen org. mgmt and others on cell phones with their hands covering their mouths. i guess they can get kinda paranoid, with all of the technology out there these days. actually, i've often wondered about those that can read lips reading all of that coach speak on the sidelines, and at camp.
