Question Did anyone take photos/videos of the Superdome's renovations??? (2 Viewers)

I also remember going to the first post-Katrina Sugar Bowl to be held in the Dome (LSU-Notre Dame). For some reason the ramps were a little wet (maybe condensation from A/C? The ensuing falls were too spread out to be from a single drink spill). Leaving the game, one guy slipped and tumbled down. I thought "oh he's drunk." Then another guy. And another. Then we all started walking REALLY slowly down the ramp. I laugh only b/c no one was seriously hurt.
Wow. I remember having the same experience less than a year later for the MNF game against the Titans. The ramps, which had previously been carpeted, were then bare cement and they were slick. My dad had to take it easy on his knee, which was already on its way to a form of replacement surgery. People were taking it super-easy on that ramp.

In later seasons, the condensation issue seemed to go away, thankfully. I'm disappointed to read that they're gone, though. Stairs would make me feel like I just played in the game myself!

If memory serves, you and I are close to the same age (I'm 43 and have an arthritic knee). I am EXTREMELY grateful my most common seating section (tickets owned by a childhood friend) involves only a single stair. The game's already rough enough on my knees considering the non-existent leg room in the sats, if I have to climb 10-20 stairs to get to the seat, it's rough.

I passed by the “vomotoriums” in the Terrace early Monday night. It seems like they’re reserving seats in front for some handicapped patrons. Noticed someone with a walker, another with crutches. What caught my eye (or didn’t) was no wheelchair patrons in the area, but I might have been really early. No changes as far as I could tell from elevator use, handicapped are still waiting for coaches/press/suites before/after games.

They reduce the men’s bathrooms by half in the corners of the plaza to accommodate the escalators. No added bathrooms that I could find from there floor plan.

I know you can't see much from this picture, forgot to take more. This was from Suite #336. The 200 level club lounge was still the same as last year as were most of what I remember on our way from the entry door all the way up to our suite (escalator then 2 walk up ramps)
