What are you supposed to do? Keep him in a cage? He's not allowed to move up in his profession? I've lost people as a supervisor that I didn't want to lose, but I was happy for them to get new and better opportunities. That is how the working world works, at least that's what you hope for.

No. He got a nice promotion with a storied franchise. He would've been a fool to not take it. And his promotion reflects nicely on our own organization.

His QB is Jay Cutler.

Cutler has a nice arm, and nothing in terms of competitiveness, leadership, etc.

He's never even been close to leading a team anywhere.

In 10 seasons as a starter, he has a winning record in 3 of them.

In 10 seasons, he has won exactly 1 playoff game.

Pace strapped everything he has to the Cutler wagon.

Yeah, we're OK.

I remember when this fan base used to at least let the season start before we went into free fall

I was counting on us to lock him in a basement watching old tv shows, while from time to time his ignoramus brothers would come in yelling at him, throwing food on his floor. Then one day a fat kid (who was abandoned by his friends) would befriend him, and help him get to the freedom he deserved. Maybe the Bears were that chubby kid.

God Bless Louisiana!

he's obviously talented.

he has made a lot of "saints-like" moves since he's been there. acquiring players saints are interested in right before we can, hiring coaches saints fans always wanted to hire.

just makes me hate the bears. pace is good at his job

If this FO can not find new ways to adapt then it's time to move on.
