I was trying to remember the last time I could sit back and enjoy and watch a better Saints team beat a lesser opponent with a win confidently in hand the in the fourth quarter, and I had to go all the way back to the first game against the 49ers in 2000.
Yes, we'd have to play better to run the table in the playoffs, but at this point it's about who can stay healthy and be in sync at the end of December. We had a little defensive sag at the end of the first half, but if you look at the drive charts for the Bucs for the rest of the game, we clearly just shut them down like a good defense is supposed to.
