in company ink. Everyone says it is a bad idea but I've dipped in 2 umm......vials and it wasn't a problem. The first 1 was just a buddy, no relationship, she was fired and never heard from her again. Worked out great. The second we ended up dating for about 2 years, had some great times (she is a season ticket holder and I went to the entire 06 season for free ). We eventually decided to go our seperate ways but see each other every day. This is where I would think there would be problems but we are still very good friends. Actually, she is the only ex that I am friends with so it wasn't a bad thing for me. Anyone have opinions, experience or horror stories they would like to share that will help me keep my pen in my pocket cause I know it won't always work out (we got a new secretary).

In my early, early 20's, I got hit on pretty hard at 2 grocery stores that I worked out. Proceeded to "dip the pen" with a couple of checkers (different stores for each checker....)

The catch was I was in management at the time, so we had to keep everything quiet to preserve my employment. We did, and all was good. One of them accosted me in the closet under the stairs..... that was nice ;-)

Nothing ever came of it beyond a few encounters & good times.

But that was back in my early 20's. Now, I make 4x as much money, and have MUCH more to lose professionally. If I was to try that again, I'd definitely think twice about it.

in my mid 20s, had a relationship with a girl i worked with; it was inevitable that we'd wind up dating since we were the only two young people at this company and she was super duper hot... Well, the physical part was outstanding, perhaps the best ever for me (maybe b/c of the 'taboo' nature of our relationship at first since we had to keep it under wraps) but eventually her craziness caused me to break up with her, and i found it extremely difficult to work with her every day.. Eventually i left for another job, not necessarily because of her-- but she was a big part of the reason... because of that experience i've avoided dating coworkers since then-- and now it's easy since i'm the only employee for my company within hundreds of miles.

Not really concerned about getting fired as we are all really close here (obviously ). My main concern is 1 of them turning into a psychopath and making it unbearable to be around every single day. Hasn't happened yet, I've even dipped in the governments ink when I was at Ft. Sam Houston for med training so this isn't the first workplace I've done it but I know it will bite me in the ***, or penis, one day. Too bad cause it's very convenient .

I had adventures with three co-workers (and there were a couple more possibles, but I didn't press the issue) and a few clients. I even met my wife that way. Nothing bad happened, but they were all just flings. Well, except for the wife.

I've pooped & ate at the same place a few times....

Worst time was when I was seeing a girl & I thought she gave me a little something extra with the lovin'. I was pretty worried so I told my best friend who I worked with about it in confidence, who told his girlfriend who we worked with, who told her best friend who we also worked with. Long story short the best friend of the girlfriend took it upon herself to call the girl & tell her that she was a tramp & to stay away from me or there'd be trouble.

Turned out it was a urine infection and she didn't give me anything but it got pretty awkward for a while. After that it was strictly 1 night stands with work folk & even at that they have to be super hot for me to even think about it. Also never trust a friend with a girlfriend to keep your secret!

I had had numerous relations with female coworkers (and superiors) and have never had any complications as a result, I have however also seen it blow up into huge issues for other people costing them careers and thier marriages.


IMHO more importantly that "company ink" is the emotional [in]stability or [probably] psychosis of some individual women.

sometimes you meet these women at work sometimes you meet them else where, but the common demoninator is not meeting them at work...

sometimes you meet these women at work sometimes you meet them else where, but the common demoninator is not meeting them at work...

It's because you meet their work personality, you know the cool, funny, laid back, always up for a joke side of her personality.

Then you get involved and you meet their dating personality.... Jealous, controling, demanding, generally just all out crazy.

And we never see it coming
