This is looking promising. I'd like to see an actual demo of it, with some specs, but it looks like things are moving in the direction I want to see. Feeding content directly to a PC (via download, satellite, cable, etc), setting up share drives with security on it, and then putting extenders throughout the house. I'll be able to centrally manage my media content, control what my kids see/hear (well, if they're smart they'll get around it whe they're older - I'd be disappointed if they didn't), and reduce the clutter in the house.

We'll see....
 
Only peripherally related, the slingbox viewer version 2.0 will have the abillity to clip and share video from the broadcast feeds. The slingcatcher will be able to receive the slingbox signal and feed it to the TV. The newer boxes will be transmitting in true HD as well (bandwidth permitting). All moving towards content centralized over network connections rather than limiting to coax. The future is bright.
