well, I'm thankfull, that it was a GOOD team we lost to, and not a 1-15 team at the end of the season....
those were not good memories.

blaming the fans for anything after that display on the field is rediculous! They are lucky anyone was left at halftime, let alone the fourth quarter. what I saw was a team that didn't deserve their fans yesterday.

and as for fujita laying into the fans for leaving early, maybe he should have been spending more time trying to stop those guys from baltimore from making his defense look like a high school team than looking around the dome lamenting the loss of fans.

trying to blame the fans after the team's play just absolutely rubs me raw. I swear, did Haslett's team come back during the bye week?

a lot of the fans...I know that there were no SaitsReport fans who left in the 3rd quarter but I was appaled at how easily so many gave up soearly int he second half. I guess thats the bandwagon factor. Anyway, I agree with a lot of other posts...I think the game just fell to the Ravens today, all those tipped passes were ricockilicious! I think we didnt gt beat by a better team but they were better today. I also think we needed to get spanked like this to learn and grow as a team. Great teams arent made overnight people. We should be loving 5-2 because nobody ever thought we would be this good at this point, we shouldn't be walking out and giving up so early on a team that has played its heart out for us week after week.

On the lighter side...it is VERY HARD to cheer and pump up a crown with a mask on because nobody knows what I', saying. I tried doing raise the roof type moves but I have to work on realizing I'm in costume now and project my voice better.... anyway, hope y'all liked the Fleur-de-V costume and see you in it in about 3 more weeks!!!

I'll admit, I left...I was sitting with my wife who doesn't care anything about football. We were in the 640's section, right underneath the a/c vents and man it was so cold I thought it was about to snow. My fingers were numb and she was freezing and the game was awful. We were misearable and left. Drove up I55 and ate at Middendrofs. Man, the game was bad, but the food at that place is good...

Let me get something straight with you. You havent got a clue WHY some left when they did. Nor does ANY one have to explain WHY to you. This kind of post makes my blood boil. You call those who left "bandwagon fans"? Why, because you wore a costume to the game makes you a "bigger" fan? get a clue...

We had chances to get back in the game, mistakes were made, now the only thing left to do is get over it.

We have a QB who tried to get us back in the game...he made some mistakes while doing so, he already owned up to it.

We have a coach who is taken responsiblity etc...first time in years if ever.

It is one loss....anyone who thought this team was going to sail to 15-1 is just as dillusional (sp?) to think that the Colts and Bears will finish 16-0....its just about impossible odds.

It's one loss....sure 5-11 is possible but I think that's really unrealistic with this staff and the players.

The Saints are a fun team to watch for the first time in years....people are going to have to take the bad with the good, because to be 5-2 now is a heck of a lot better than where we were at this point last year. Losses are a part of the NFL season...deal with it.

yeah that was pretty funny. it does suck that the guy in front of me kept jumping up. but i guess hes got just as much right to do that as i do to be standing up all game.


oh. and about mousie, i tried to go dance with him for the eagles game, he has security escort him to his spot between the 3rd and 4th quarters. he does it every game, but they wont let me dance battle him. heck, they wont even let me dance WITH him.

how does it make the guys on the field feel to see fans leaving!? How about how do they think the fans feel when the team they showed up to root for decided it didn't feel like playing to win! We punted on fourth and one when we were down by three touchdowns!!! Why didn't they just kneel the previous three downs to get it over quicker?

I left with 45 minutes in the 4th quarter but hung out in the smoking section where they had a TV. At least I got to meet BigChinGuy!

I'm down in section 115 where all the noise from up top comes down on us. It was definitely not as loud as the Atlanta or Eagles game at any point. This is similar to the Tampa game, we didn't do our job as well as we could have. And i think Fujita is correct: too many people left way too early. This is a different team, with a different coach, different players, and most importantly, a different attitude.

As to my section, we were much better today. There were a lot more people standing up and we were a lot louder. The guy that usually sits in front of me was not there so I didn't have to deal with him getting upset because my son and I scream loud.

I live in the Gulf Shores area and the Mobile CBS affilliate went to the Jacksonville game at start of the fourth quarter. I spent the rest of the game with radio on and venting on their voice mail and e-mailing them my disgust for deccion. The SAINTS have shown me enough already to keep the faith. GEAUX SAINTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
