Well, somebody's in all those Chik-Fil-A and McDonald's lines and I know it's not me. I would assume it's some of y'all here.

After visiting family and heading back to Dallas, we would always stop at Prejean's in Carencro for lunch. I would always order the same thing, Catfish Grand Chenier. It was a catfish filet, attached together to form a circle, then battered and deep fried. It was plated with seafood dressing in the middle of it, and all of it topped with crawfish etouffee. I loved it. Then on a visit, it wasn't on the menu anymore, and I was told the chef left and took his recipes with him. They tried to recreate it, but it paled in comparison to the original. It was a sad day.

Yep, you can't find crispy lettuce at any fast food joint nowadays.

You can hardly find crisp lettuce in the grocery store much less a restaurant.

I remember them well! Too bad that whenever conglomerate corporate america gets its hands on these local companies, the conglomerate ruins them

Yep. The vending machine at work has them in powdered sugar and chocolate. I'd be willing to bet in a month or so, you'll see them in Pumpkin Spice flavor too.

I also remember them well, that was our hot dog of choice (or Nathans) when I was single and living with the guys.....great dog....

I wonder how many discontinued products would get a permanent sales boost, if brought back, ala new/old coke swap.
