do we need Maths (1 Viewer)

I have a question

You know how pi has been figured to over a million places?

How do they know all those digits are correctly determining the ratio between a circle and its diameter when no circle can ever be made or measured to such accuracy using all matter in the known universe?

What trickery is pi based upon?

Granted that was many epochs ago
But that seems about right
(Nordic countries start right away, like 4 years old)

Nordic countries may well be right in this instance, but they also eat lutefisk, so I can confirm that they are not always on the side of right

Read the modern quest for more digits section.

Basically iterative algorithms. And then they went from there.

teh mathz are critical for life, for example:

if an ounce is roughly 28 grams, bob wants a 1/4 of the ounce, brandy wants a dime out of it, joe asks for a 1/2 ounce, jim wants a nickel, then how much is left?

for learning, we will call a dime 1 gram, and a nickel 0.5 of a gram.

28 - 7 = 21
21 - 1 = 20
20 - 14 = 6
6 - 0.5 = 0
(jim only bought a nickel because you already got high off your own supply)

also:
28 - 3 = falcons blew a 25 point lead

How do you get 6-.5 to equal 0? Did you smoke the other 5.5?
