I dont know much about the 9ers receivers but Kittle reminds me of our offense with Graham. He's really their #1 receiver. So how would you play him?

I say yes. I would say bell, but idk. You know that you're wrong for even thinking about putting apple on there ???. Kittle would destroy apple. I remember when we played the pats and the put talib on Graham. It hurt us big time. I consider putting latt on him,but apple scares me. They have two decent receivers in smauel and sanders.

You'd do better to bracket him and leave Lattimore one on one with someone.

And you need someone physical to tackle him, which probably means Von Bell as part of that plan.
PJ, Bell, and maybe even CJGJ in my opinion. He'd be a mismatch for any of our LBs except Anzalone, who is on IR. (dangit).
PJ is big, strong, and physical. He only really struggles with the speed receivers deep down the field.
Kittle is exactly the type of receiver that PJ does well against. Bell too.

I only throw Chauncey's name in there, because so far, I haven't seen anything so far that the young man "can't" handle.

Lattimore isn’t even an option. He’ll be on Sanders. I think they’re play Kittle like a TE and probably instruct one of the safeties to help with him.

The main key to this game will be run/short pass defense and running the football. We’ve been great at the former all year and struggled with the latter of late. Also the pass rush can cause issues Jimmy G will crumble.

This. Get real physical with him. That's what Carolina's LBs would do to Graham.

I heard Kittle had a condition that keeps him from feeling pain. To that I say:

Kittle is much tougher then Graham. You won’t take him out the same way you take out Graham.

when NE put a 180 lb CB on Graham and stopped him, Kittle would have put his hand thru Talib’s chest and destroyed his life. Graham don’t have that skillset

You're right David, unfortunately. I still think we need to at least match Kittle's physicality and see where it goes. How do you think the Saints will cover Kittle?
