It's been an annual tradition for me for over 30 years. The fresh stuff with real eggs and Captain Morgan. Can't stomach the grocery store carton brands. Making a batch for the office this week, then another for Christmas.

I enjoy a good drink, have a drink after work almost everyday..... but i never tried egg nog. It just sounds disgusting.

Am i missing out on something good??

Eggnog daiquiris are nice, but the resulting sugar coma tends to knock me out.

I prefer brandy or whiskey in my nog over rum.

Then I discovered Alton Brown and tried his homemade egg nog... It was another world. Then I added whiskey, and suddenly I understood.
