How do you clean efficiently? Anyone have personal methods or anything like that?

I generally do one room at a time. First clean trash, then do surfaces, then vacuum or sweep. It seems to be a really slow process. Or maybe I'm just a guy

Hellp

I am about to start early spring cleaning. I'm talking white glove inspection kind of cleaning. Fun.

start at the top and work down, do floors last -

start in one corner of a room and work around room (following the top down process)

windows\glass - newspaper and windex

Just ask her what room she wants cleaned first.

We are doing some renovation work and have a demo dumpster out front. I think from here on out I will get a dumpster at least every other year to throw out stuff. It has been great.

i just throw everything away and buy new stuff...then i just repaint the walls and ceilings

My wife mops and vacuums the entire house (minus upstairs) EVERY DAY. She has an illness I cannot find a cure for.....

I clean the exact same way. The only real way to make cleaning go by quickly is to not wait until so much trash collects that you are almost forced to clean.

You should try to clean 10-15 minutes a day or every other day. That way you won't have to worry about doing so much at one time.

Of course I could never do such a thing because I am a rat pack and a procrastinor. Not a good combination.

However, since I've been living in my new place my cleaning habits have improved tremendously. I try to clean up the whole apartment once a week, and I usually keep my kitchen clean on a daily basis(sometimes every other day) and my bathroom clean on a 3-4 day basis.

I have found that I have been keeping a much neater apartment than I have in the past.
