Does anybody else think the coin toss is the biggest key?? (1 Viewer)

It makes it easier, but you're presuming we can't get two stops on D our first two times out.

i love how this week on espn shows when they looked at the saints giants game they said the "turning point" was when the saints won the toss... lol
Berman or someone actually said the turning point was on Tuesday when they saw the huge holes in the middle of the Giants D on film.

Which proves that even Saints' fans are mesmerized by our offense, so much so that we are forgetting the terrific play of our defense this season.

The opening two drives for Miami thru 5:
Falcons: Fumble, 3 first downs (9 plays) & punt
Colts: TD (8 plays), FG (12 plays)
Chargers: 7 first downs (17 plays) & fumble out the end zone, 3 & out punt
Bills: 3 & out punt, 1 first down (6 plays) & punt
Jets: TD (12 plays), FG (1 first, 5 plays)

So in 10 drives at the start of the game they have:

2 TDs
2 FGs (one with a short field)
2 Firsts then Punt
2 3 and out
2 fumbles

Three times they started slow with two punts/turnovers. Two times they scored twice, but both times only one of the scores was a TD.

I like our chances that they'll start slow.
