Does anyone know if the Saints will bring back the gold jerseys black pants uniform this year? They brought the black pants back the last two weeks. And why are uniform changes not publicized for the Saints like other teams do?

Maybe I am wrong but I seem to remember some report mid season about the Saints requesting the all black jerseys for the rest of the season. Every team except the Bengels agreed and they were in black for that game but we are in black for the rest of the season?

Maybe I am insane, but I sure seem to remember reading that somewhere and am too lazy to research at work.

The home jersey switch had nothing to do with the pants being black. But for what it's worth, until we lose in the all black, we should roll with it. It's all about the W's.....

It's confusing cause every other team has a mention of some sort of any uniform changes on thier website. For the Saints, stuff like ditching and bringing back the black pants just snuck up on us. And the same for the gold jerseys. They came by surprise and they dissapeared by surprise.

I loved those Gold jerseys. Last time we wore those was against Minny a couple of years ago, right? I was at that game....what a heartbreaker at the end!

The thanksgiving throwbacks and the alternates were both used only once in 2002 against the Buccs and the Vikings. They both appeared and disappeared by surprise and since then only the black pants have been brought back from all of the Saints 2002 unifroms. There never has been any press mention about it at all.

I believe the Gold jerseys are no more. They still sell them, but they are no longer in the set for the team.
