The clowns are up 20+ points by half and not risk injury? Even though i have a feeling the Cats may come out with a W tommorow.

The Saints won't be paying attention to the other game's score. I think they just play to win the game. Finish Strong!

I think starters play the entire game. Coach says they don't scoreboard watch, but I just don't believe that there won't be SOMEONE watching the score of the Atlanta-Carolina game and giving updates to SOMEONE on the Saints sideline.

I really don't think it's going to matter at all how the panthers game goes. The boys will be concentrating on nothing but getting that win. I'd be surprised if they even pay attention to the scoreboard until our game is in the bag. Scoreboard watching will gain them nothing other than to distract them from 2 things. 1) Winning, and 2) Eliminating Tampa.

If the Panthers are losing by 28 at the half, it would make no sense to leave Drew Brees out there to possibly get hurt. Believe me, no matter what they say, they will be very aware of the Panthers/Falcons score.

You, my friend, are 100 % correct.

:plus-un2: unfortunatelly, Drew has a bad habit of staying in games he has no reason to still be in. Hopefully, this never backfires!!!

At halftime is the only time that payton will have a chance to do that. If carolina is within striking distance at halftime then payton will definately stick with the starters the whole game unless we are up by a big enough margin.

I agree the starters will stay in as long as the kitties are within 14 points.

Would not surprise me if the only time you see the Panthers score in the Dome is when it would be strategically advantageous to the Saints. I would be comfortable saying it will not be shown till half time or later.

I don't think the coach will be watching the scoreboard. I think he already knows the Panthers will get destroyed. I'll be shocked if Drew sees the field in the second half. Get ready to see Chase Daniel play.
