Assuming he is ours throughout his career, he will be our best ever. He does some amazing things to get open and make people miss, and having suction cup fingertips helps.

This is absolutely correct. Thomas is quickly becoming our leading receiver and fan favorite a la Colston in 2006. The comparisons end there. Thomas is stronger and more physical. He's quicker than Colston was, but maybe not as fast in a 100m. Colston's greatest attribute was his consistency. He put up great season after great season. Thomas has a much higher ceiling. He's capable of becoming the All-pro receiver the OP referenced.I know a lot of folks are comparing Thomas to Colston... I just dont see it. Thomas is much more athletic to me. I think his ceiling is much higher than our beloved Colston. Correct me if im wrong... but Colston was deadly in the slot because of the matchups he created in the middle of the field... Thomas is more of an outside receiver creating separation from the other teams #1 CB. Just my humble opinion trying to spark some chatter.

For some reason Thomas gets a lot more love/hype than Colston. But Colston actually had much better numbers through this point his rookie season. .this is not a knock on Thomas just don't under appreciate Colston's greatness. He was criminally underrated his entire career. And for all those that say it was a result of his being schemed open, I have two words for you. Coleman, Brandon. I don't get why everyone thinks Thomas is better than Colston. Have some respect for the greatest WR to ever wear the black and gold. We can debate who was better in ten years
I wish we could have seen him against Carolina last year. Norman shut D.Bryant down last year. I don't follow the Cowpatties or the skins, so I don't know what the match up of Bryant and Norman has resulted in this year. I think MT gives Norman fits though in a head to head, and would be a defining game. He will probably be matched up with Talib this week, which will be interesting.I Love Marcus Colston, but imho I don't think he was in the class of Julio Jones, D Thomas, AJ Green or Dez Bryant. Those #1 WRs are weapons to attack and rip-up defenses.
In Seattle, Thomas went against Sherman and had a great game. It looks like SP is getting enough confidence in Thomas to send him out as primary target against the best CBs in the league.
I know it's still way early in his career, but it looks like SP may have his 1st legit #1 elite, game changing WR.
Is this kid that good? How can SP use him to be more effective in the future? And how much better are Cooks, Willie and Fleener with Thomas taking the #1 CB on?
Thomas is very very good, but wish he had a bit more explosion, he has super star hands, so I am happy
I think Thomas has good explosion, but not breakaway speed. Still, I think Thomas is a bit faster than Colston. Can't wait until Thomas finally catches one in the open to see his top end speed.
Does anybody know where I can get a color rush Thomas jersey? I am struggling.
Colston was a zone beater. Cooks doesn't beat man coverage that well. I think we thought Coby was better in creating separation in man than he really was. Thomas is seeing a high #of targets because he wins in man a lot and not just on the fly routes like Cooks.
