Three one bedroom apartments, just 8 blocks from Tulane University. All apartments come with furnished kitchen and washer dryer.

apartment "A," Large 1BR, $700, apartment "B" $650 apartment "C", $625

Good enough for my wife's brother to check out? It's listed under Uptown/University.

Probably legit, could be shady though. That's going to be on the river side of St Charles, near the old Uptown Square. Might not be quality living. Worth checking out, at any rate.

Considering I pay DOUBLE that here in DC, that's a steal no matter what the quality of living.

By "might not be quality living", I mean "you may need to carry a gun and know how to use it", although I don't know if you would be terribly unsafe (although that's relative). Please let common sense and good judgment prevail.
