Donald Trump trashed Arnold Schwarzenegger over the debut of the new 'Celebrity Apprentice' ... and it appears to have more to do with the presidential election than the show.

Trump just tweeted Arnold got "swamped (or destroyed) by comparison to the ratings machine, DJT." He goes on, "So much for being a movie star-and that was season 1 compared to season 14. Now compare him to my season 1. But who cares, he supported Kasich & Hillary."

But wouldn't people who are in love with him not watch it because he says it's awful? If it was about more than stroking his ego, I'd think he'd have tweeted something about how Arnold should call him for advice on how to Make the Apprentice Great Again instead of telling people to compare the ratings (Mine is bigger than yours!!1!) and then trashing Arnold for supporting "Clinton and Kasich".

Why did he even hire Arnold if he hates him so much? It's his show. Just seems like a stupid thing to be tweeting about considering the actual **** he should be worrying himself with.
