my wife was the accountant of baton rouge/hammond harley davidson for 3-4 years. she worked there previously a few years as an accountant "junior".
not that this death is worth more than anyone else, this officer i have met on a handful of occasions, both at the hd service center, or in gonzales at the annual motor whatever competition.
he was shot a year or two ago in the face, and, continued to serve and protect after he recovered.
i normally wouldn't post anything like this, but it partially hits home.
As we are mourning the loss of Officer Shane Totty, many are starting to inquire on how to help the family.
