Don't expect Saints defense to show off new disguises during the preseason | NOLA.com

An older article but just reminding everyone
Dennis Allen held true to his word.
Here's some food for thought:
1. Little to no blitz
2. Playing 8 to 10 yards off receivers
for the sole purpose of practicing open
field tackling.
3. Instill gang tackling
4. Work on interior of the line.
5. Focus on technique for the young cb's
6. Get all the lbs on the same page
7. Focus on turnovers in camp

Watching this pre season wasn't pretty.
But I believe their plan is in place. Once
the final cuts hit, it's on like donkey Kong.

Yes! You don't want the defense to come out premature. You have to go full term if you want a fully developed defense lol. Cutting the cord on Sept. 11.

OP you'll want to edit the title of your post unless you want several pages of discussion about child birth.

What I saw during this pregnancy season, was no protection . There was penetration in the gaps. That can lead to soreness and injuries. If not fixed, we'll be left with a feeling of shame and still have a leaky front.

Either way its going to be messy and bloody with a lot of screaming, and several people of weaker constitution are going to pass out.

There's an abortion joke to be had here somewhere.

With the way the offense have been shooting blanks, I highly doubt that's even possible this year.

D'oh! I read the title as for the offense..

Payton's been looking pretty moody on the sideline. Someone needs to get him some Juicy Fruit and pickles.
