Man, besides it being a completely effed up thing for him to do and destroying the admiration I've had for him since I was a kid, the fact that this may mean the end of Down really sucks. Never in my mind would I have imagined Phil having even the slightest amount of those beliefs.
 
Anyone that really knows Phil isn't surprised by this. Anselmo is a screw up, has been since I knew him back in High School. If it wasn't for Pantera he would be a laughing stock.

This is coming from someone that loves Pantera BTW, but more so because of Dime than anything.


I would rather see Crowbar any day of the week instead of Down anyway, in all honesty.
 
Phil not that bad of a guy. Hey he is a big Saints fan and a regular at the training facility.

Him being a Saints fan does not make him a good dude, sorry. I don't hate the guy, this just doesn't surprise me at all.
 
Is this really the first time this has happened? I'm almost positive I've seen/heard him do this before w/ Pantera back in the day, but not with the salute or anything. I've got a bunch of old vhs bootlegs....maybe that's where. Or maybe I'm completely misremembering. :idunno:

*edit - not "do this before" like w/ full on salute and all that, just him saying "white power."
