I would do it as a fan, but over the past three years, 11 out of 24 preseason favorites at this point of the year don’t win their division. One out of three don’t make the playoffs.

That said, I do like two out of three odds to make the playoffs.

The Saints already were a "decent" team. Then they added an above average QB while the rest of the division gobbled up the Saints' castoffs. And the only team who plays a schedule with a worse 2022 winning percentage than the Saints is the Falcons.

Yeah, I'd say this is a really good year to give it a shot.
