Daniel McCullers, DT, Tennessee
Height: 6-8. Weight: 360.
Projected 40 Time: 5.45.
Projected Round (2012): 3-5.

12/22/12: The mammoth McCullers was a presence for Tennessee. He had a good game against Florida with three tackles and a tackle for a loss. McCullers also had some pass pressure versus the Gators. He totaled 39 tackles, 5.5 tackles for a loss, a pass broken up, a forced fumble and a blocked kick in 2012. McCullers is still raw, but he could turn into something special.

The junior probably would be better off playing four years in college before going pro. McCullers started out his college career at Georgia Military College. He had 37 tackles, nine tackles for a loss and two sacks there in 2011. McCullers had 27 tackles, four tackles for a loss and a forced fumble in 2010.

Holy cow. If he says he is hungry enough to eat a horse...I believe him.

If we Draft him expect him to be the new "Walter Thomas".

There is a reason you don't see many interior defenders over 6'5, leverage is more important than strength and size. Ever see a 6'8" guy try to get low?

That's why Bunkley dominates in the 3-4. He can just hunker down and absorb 2 blockers. Very excited about him in our new system.

He's a great prospect, too bad we fired the only person on the team who can develop defensive linemen. Let's all take a toast of motor oil to three more years of Bill Johnson!

Oh, you are talking about the guy that developed Michael Strahan? The DE that was already going to the hall of fame before Spags ever got to the Giants? You must have meant Osi, the guy that had his career high in sacks the season before Spags got to the Giants, nope that wouldn't make sense. I guess I meant Justin Tuck, the guy that had his career high in sacks the season after Spags left the Giants. Maybe you are talking about the guy that developed JPP, oh wait, he came after Spags. Is this the same defensive coordinator that cut Cameron Wake, you know the guy that was tearing it up in the Pro Bowl earlier today? The same guy that has more sacks over the past three seasons than our entire team had this year? Maybe you are talking about the defensive coordinator that came in to help the Saints defense get 3 less sacks this season than in 2011. Are you talking about the defensive coordinator that helped 2 of our 3 starting defensive lineman decrease their sack numbers this season from last..

The only thing Spags develops is losses.

That is a big, big boy. Not where we'd be valuing NT but he certainly could clog up some running lanes so long as he's got some beastly push to go with that beastly size.
