Drafting a QB early is somewhat giving up on “one last run”.

We will be hurting “post Brees” regardless.

Anything other than a player who can contribute now is pointless. Unless you prefer to finish 6-10 instead of 4-12 the year after Brees retires

Correct, in fact not even close.

He essentially was a top 6/7 pick for what we gave up. He needs to turn into Von Miller to justify what we gave up for him.

I think drafting BPA is the play in the first. I don't buy in to drafting for only this year. We're a very complete team so BPA is the way to go for me.

It doesn't....Especially when the Saints plan to use Taysom Hill as a band-aid temporarily next year until the following year when they go all in on Deshaun Watson who I doubt will be franchised again for another year. Or, give up the farm in a trade for Watson next year.

This is wrong. If you get a starter at QB you get him. Many positions drafted at #24 don’t make an impact right away.
