dress codes for Restaurants in NOLA (1 Viewer)

I want to visit a few restaurants in NOLA, but I am not sure if I want to dress up. I know I want to make it to Commander's Palace. Would you recommend the brunch? Commander's is is definite a slack/tie place to my knowledge. GW Fins I am sure is a suit place. What are some awesome food places, which you can get in with blue jeans and button down shirt. Thanks.

There are actually very few places where you need a jacket and/or tie to eat, and most of those are dinner only, ie. Galatoire's.

Yep -- Galatoire's is the only place I can think of that requires a jacket. Overall, dining out in New Orleans is a pretty casual affair, no matter how fine the cuisine.

Should be fine at either place, but if you're eating dinner you may want to throw on a blazer for good measure.
