NEW ORLEANS — OK, so this may not be the moment you have all been waiting for, but it should at least be the most revealing of the New Orleans Saints four preseason games.
The Saints hit the road again this week to face the New York Jets in their third preseason contest. As is typically the case, the Saints’ first team offense and defense are expected to get a more extended run in this game than they have in the two previous preseason games, a sort of final major tuneup before the start of the regular season.
Here are five things — or people — to be on the lookout for when the Saints take the field, the top of the list, of course, being No. 9.
