Of course, Drew Brees does his due diligence with everything related to his NFL career.

Levi's Stadium, site of the New Orleans Saints' game vs. the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday afternoon, will be the 36th venue in which he has taken a snap as a starting quarterback in the league.

Brees told me he scouts or at least receives a scouting report about every stadium, particularly a building in which he's never played. He wants a feel for the turf, the wind and anything else worth noting.

Over the course of his 16-year career, Brees has played in essentially every NFL facility. Before his arrival in New Orleans in 2006, the results in new venues weren't kind to Brees.
