Drew won Week 1's Offensive Player of the Week by the NFL.

In the NFC, Saints quarterback Drew Brees edged out Vikings running back Adrian Peterson and others for the offensive player of the week honors. Brees won the award three times in 2008, and he has now been named offensive player of the week in either conference ten times in his career.

Youre right, in that running for 175+ yds, your team almost always wins, but if your QB passes for 300yds thats not always a good thing(having to come from behind). But 6 TD's, thats an once every 5 year or so occurance. Breesus deserved that award!!

350 yards and six touchdowns to 5 different receivers by our quarterback AND in the same game almost 150 rushing yards by one of our running backs...that is one amazing offense!
