Brees QB rating was 137.01, without the interception it would have been 149.26.

Rating are computed using the following formula:

Quarterback Rating System
Step 1: Completed passes divided by pass attempts. Subtract .03 and multiple by 5
Step 2: Passing yards divided by pass attempts. Subtract 3 and divide by 4.
Step 3: Touchdown passes divided by pass attempts. Multiple by 20.
Step 4: Interceptions divided by pass attempts. Multiple by 25 and then substract from 2.375.
Rating: Add the sum of the four categories. Multiply by 100 and divide by 6.

The sum of each step cannot be greater than 2.375 or less than zero. Add the sum of
Steps 1 through 4, multiply by 100, and divide by 6.

The NFL formula (in actual formula format) is:

QB Rating = ((C+Y+T+I)/6) * 100

The component for completion percentage, C = ((Comp/Att)*100 - 30)/20

The component for yards per attempt, Y = ((Yds/Att) - 3) * (1/4)

The component for touchdowns per attempt, T = (TD/Att) * 20

The component for interceptions per attempt, I = 2.375 - ((INT/Att)*25)

Note: If any of the raw components are beyond the limits of zero or 2.375, the component is set to limiting value of zero or 2.375 as the case may be.
